  13. Thanks Bart for the “like” and for following. I’m not a writer, I’m actually crap at it. My blog’s tagline says it well: The people, events and environment that inspire my artwork.
And having lived in numerous countries and fluent in 5 languages and therefore 5 cultures, I aim to exhibit my artwork through WordPress
    Cheers!

  21. Love your website. Particularly your photos from around the world. If you want any from Perth, Australia let me know. I would love to contribute to your site. I travelled through Asia a lot as a child, went to Ireland and Scotland as a teenager, and most recently had a trip to Switzerland earlier this month. Let me know if there is anything in particular you would like written about. With Stacey College I am interested in language teaching with a focus on English, Mandarin, Malay and Indonesian.

  56. fun to see your stuff! there’s a town in Maine named for St. Agatha … I bet most of them don’t know the story … the town where I live in NC is home to people of more than 30 nationalities … as I do my best to meet people on their own terms I’ve upset my stomach by accepting cardamon seed breath freshener (just because I cook with it doesn’t mean my system can handle 4 whole!) and found myself almost in tears after an immigrant from Bosnia told me they came to our suburb because “the internet said it was #1 most safe city in US so we knew no one would bother us.” Best to you all!

  57. Hi – Thanks for visiting and following! I followed you home and have been poking around the site sampling a bit of all your writings- really like your place(s). I’m an inveterate traveler with perennial itchy fee; if I can’t be on the road the next best thing is reading about it. Hope to post as a guest some day. Meanwhile, Happy Trails to you

Your blog is very interesting and I really relate to a lot of your articles, having travelled a good bit myself (especially as a lone female traveller so that article was particularly interesting to me). Plus I love the photo of the comorand fisherman on your front page. Was that Yangshuo in Guilin Province? I loved that place : )
